Mr. Morris has worked in the electric utility industry since 1972. Mr. Morris joined Utility System Efficiencies, Inc. (USE) in July 2008.

Prior to coming to USE, Mr. Morris worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) where he directed power system studies of the 500 kV transmission system to provide for increased access to generating resources in the West, and directed studies to reduce reliance on local area generating capacity to increase transfer capability from Southern California to improve transmission reliability for Diablo Canyon reliability and generation interconnection studies for large, independent generating projects.

Mr. Morris has performed power system analyses involving identifying system performance that does not comply with reliability standards, investigating solutions to mitigate those violations, and preparing economic analyses to identify those solutions that would have the least financial impact to customers.
